Our Mission

One Hope Foursquare Church
Mission Statement

Our motto is ‘Include and Mend, Train and Send’

Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He came into the world not to condemn it, but so that all might be saved. Sadly, many people think that the Lord wants to condemn them rather than save them. One Hope seeks to breakdown this misconception. We intentionally invite people who might feel uncomfortable in other settings into our church family. When a person wants to know God and experience His love, we strive to be a family to them, to include them in our lives.

Jesus Christ is a healer. He longs to bring wholeness to people – body, soul and spirit. One Hope is a place of restoration. All of us have wounds and traumas. We expect everyone who comes to our gathering to be broken just like us. As we pursue Jesus together He mends our broken places.

Jesus Christ is a disciple maker. He trains those who follow Him to become like Him. Jesus is all about serving. He came to earth not to be served but to serve and become the servant of all. As we learn Jesus’ ways He transforms us into healthy, happy servers, people with a ministry and a purpose.

Jesus Christ commanded His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Good News to the nations. One Hope is a sending church. We do not grasp on to people as though they were our property. The church and all its disciples belong to Jesus. Therefore, we support all our members as they seek to serve Jesus in whatever way He directs. Some are sent to faraway places for long periods of time others are sent across the street for an hour. Regardless of the mission we are sent to serve people with the love of Jesus.
